It depends on how many penetrations need sealing, what passes through them, how easy they are to reach and whether the building is occupied. Boards or ceilings that need removing, high-level access and out-of-hours working all add time. We survey first and give you a written price for the agreed scope, with nothing added that you have not approved. Book a free site survey to get yours.
Tell us your dates when you book and we will confirm whether we can meet them before you commit. For main contractors, we plan resource around your programme from tender stage.
A tested system matched to the rating of each wall or floor, photographs of each seal before it was closed up, and a certificate from a third-party certified installer. Yes. New fire alarm systems, cabling, ductwork and fit-outs all breach fire lines, and we reinstate them to the original rating, as we did at the Savoy and Lyceum theatres after new fire alarm installations. See remedial fire stopping.
If you have a breach list from your fire risk assessment, or drawings for new work, we can price from those. If you do not know the condition of your compartments, a compartmentation survey finds every breach first, so the remedial price covers the whole building. See fire compartmentation surveys.
